Weekly Puzzler #169: A Flower with a Springing Seed!

This next puzzler is a a plant that I love! It comes in both yellow and orange flowers and is often found growing in shady places, often side-by-side with poison ivy. When I was a girl I remember my older brother Don taking me on a hike in some fields near my house and showing me how the tight green, small seed pod on this plant would LAUNCH the seeds into the air when a finger came even close to touching the pod. I was amazed! And from then on, whenever I saw this plant, I would get a gleeful laugh by touching the seeds and watching the seeds spring out! What fun!

Do you recognize this plant? Have you also launched the seeds into space by touching the full, green pods that hang by the dainty leaves?
