Is it a little blue heron?
Hey Rosalyn, Thanks for reading and guessing the puzzler! It is not a little blue heron, but great guess. In hindsight I think this puzzler may have been a bit too difficult. It is the bill of a breeding tri-colored heron, also know as the Louisiana heron.
My guess is the Louisiana Heron (tricolored). Perhaps the Little Blue but the red eye has me 🤔
