A Snowy Day in the Mountains of Western NC: A One Minute Meditation

Hi friends. I hope you are all well and staying safe. I’ve missed writing and updating my blog posts but I’m back now, after a long absence following a site crash and lots of technical difficulties. You will notice my website looks different. I hope you will spend some time checking out all the changes I’ve made. Then I hope you’ll let me know what you think. Can’t wait to hear from you!

Here in western NC where I live we recently got what I call a “winter wonderland snow.” This is the kind of day that has me feeling like a kid who can’t wait to get outside and play in the snow. So of course I bundled up, grabbed my camera and headed out to do one of my favorite hikes, taking lots of photos along the way. The river looked especially beautiful with all of the snow-covered trees nearby.

Are you seeing signs of spring yet where you live? Or do you have lots of snow on the ground?  It’s always an adventure to see what Mother Nature has in store for us!

Come with me on a short walk in the mountains of western NC. Listen to the roar of the water rushing over the rocks along the Rhododendron-lined river. See the beauty of the snow decorating all it touches. Imagine yourself there, sitting quietly, bundled in your winter gear and happy to be still for a moment.

Have a great day! I hope to hear from you soon.
