Weekly Puzzler #279: Red Berry with a Double “Belly Button”

Okay, I think this may be the last berry-themed puzzler. This one is probably on the harder side but since I’ve never done it and it’s a red berry, I figured why not? I’ve been saving it and now is the time!

This plant is a ground cover that you’ll often find growing on the forest floor in the shade, throughout the eastern United States. In the spring there will be small white flowers and then later, a single red berry. Each berry has two “belly buttons” on it. Because of this, the flower was traditionally used in wedding ceremonies.

Here are some photos:

Do you recognize this? If you want to get your name entered in the drawing to win a free sampler pack of 5 of my greeting cards, all you have to do is 1. Use the reply box below the post to give a guess to the puzzler. You don’t have to be correct! But you do have to get your guess in before the end of the weekend. And 2. You must follow me on my Instagram. After you do, comment on any photo with your first name and puzzler pool and I’ll put your name in “the hat” to win! That’s it!
