Before I continue with the new topic of Can you spot the lie, I just want to say I’m sorry that a few of the recent links for this category haven’t worked. I’m sure if you are reading and you go to learn the answer and it isn’t there, that is frustrating. I will do better to be sure and double check before publishing. Thanks for your patience with me and for continuing to follow along, despite my mistakes now and then.
So yes, on to a new Can you spot the lie. What do you know about dandelions? Right now dandelions are popping up in many places in my yard, a fact I don’t mind one bit as I think they have a lot going for them, despite their bad reputation. I’m not sure why or who decided dandelions were unfavorable but they definitely didn’t consult me as I would have said better to have green and yellow than plain, boring green. Anyway, regardless of which side of the fence you fall on about dandelions, see if you can spot the lie.
Dandelions
- Dandelions are short-lived plants, usually living less than 2 years.
- Dandelions have one of the longest flowering seasons of any plant and are more nutritious than most vegetables in your garden.
- A dandelion seed can be carried 5 miles from its origin.
