Here is a new video, featuring them and the small bird (called a yellowlegs) that was in the back of the photo from last week, along with some facts about black-necked stilts.
Black-necked stilts hold the distinction of having the second longest legs relative to their body size. Know who gets the prize for having the longest legs?
If you guessed flamingo, you are correct! When you see stilts fly, with their long legs hanging out behind them, it is pretty impressive.
