Hello, and happy Tuesday!
As you read this I hope you either already voted, (in which case, woo hoo! You’re awesome!) or have plans to vote later today. This is your chance to let your voice be heard!
I admit that I never used to vote, thinking how could my one vote make a difference? What’s the point? I used to say.
But I think differently now, knowing that ONE vote CAN make a difference. If all the people who are thinking “what’s the point” sit home on the couch in despair, that’s a lot of people whose voices won’t be heard. We live in an amazing country that gives each of us a voice on election day and to not vote really is a disservice to those who came before us and couldn’t vote, as well as to those in countries where everyone doesn’t have the right to vote.
Here’s a great quote (two actually) for the day and week, sent to you with much hope on this important day in history:
Again, just in case you couldn’t read it on the photo:
“We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history.” –Sonia Johnson
