Did you recognize the lovely CARDINAL flowers? Have you been lucky enough to see this many? Or to watch the hummingbirds, butterflies and moths coming to them for nectar? They are pretty impressive!

Cardinal flowers are perennials, native to the United States. They bloom from July/August through October. They can be 2-4 feet tall and make an excellent addition to any garden, especially if you want to attract hummingbirds.
