They all feature animals and plants that live in the United States. All can be played with children ages 3 and up, and along with each activity I offer clear directions and suggestions on how to vary play to make it age-appropriate.

Animal Bingo
These two sided, laminated Bingo boards will inspire your kids to want to learn about all kinds of animals, from tiny insects to black bears or raccoons.
There is an INDOOR and an OUTDOOR version, which is awesome because it means more ways to play. Here’s what’s included:
- 6 Indoor Bingo Boards along with 28 clue cards
- 6 Outdoor Bingo Boards (These are two-sided boards, with one side being outdoor version and one being the indoor version) along with 28 clue cards
- 6 dry-erase markers
- Directions, suggestions and natural history information to help you play and learn
- A colorful, fun, cloth bag to keep everything in that can be used in numerous other ways–some suggestions are included.

Curious Kids FIND IT
This outdoor game is a perfect way to focus kids while on a hike. Have you ever taken them on a trail, hoping to share with them something you love, only to find they are bored, tired, whiney and a bit out of control? These FIND IT cards can be played in a handful of different ways so kids will never tire of them. They work for all ages, from 3 and up, simply by making a few changes. Here’s what’s included:
- 40 laminated FIND IT cards with text and colorful photography. Each card features something different for the kids to find, from easy to more difficult. A point system is utilized so that each item is ranked by difficultly from one point to 3 points. A few card have a bonus 5 points because they are especially challenging.
- 4 blank card cards so kids can use their imagination and join in the fun
- 1 direction card on how to play
- 4 blank velcro boards so the kids can make it into a Scavenger Hunt
- 4 Scavenger Hunt lists with 25 items for kids to find and check off
- 4 dry-erase markers
- A colorful, fun cloth bag to keep everything in
Kids can play this game while on a hike, outdoor excursion or camping trip. Any number of participants from one to 24, for all ages. Younger kids will need more help; older kids can use the points on each card. There are multiple ways to play, all of which are included in the directions and extensive natural history handout that comes with the game. You can even personalize the playing cards, putting your child’s photo on the backs of all the cards!
