Check Out Some Recent Trail Camera Footage Sure to Make You Smile

Greetings friends, and happy Wednesday to you! This post goes out especially to my friends Renee and Rich who share my love of trail cameras.

One thing that brings me joy is watching wild animals in the wild. I love that my property can be a haven for them. I’ve said again and again how much I enjoy having trail cameras. It is so much fun to have this sneak peak into the lives of wild animals I may otherwise seldom get to see. And I’ve learned a lot. One of the most interesting things I’ve discovered is how often the bears visit the pond on our property, especially on hot days, for no other reason than cooling off.

The bear cubs love to wrestle and play with trees, and many of the young saplings on my property have taken a beating and even died as a result their skinny trunks not able to withstand the constant pushing and pulling. I guess it’s a small price to pay for having them around and being blessed with many opportunities to witness their behavior. On a recent walk “up the mountain,” I watched with pleasure as Mama bear and her two cubs went about their business, unaware of my presence on the next ridge. I watched them for nearly 45 minutes as they played with vines, wrestled, and generally messed around like children.

I have put a few of my recent videos together for you, my blog subscribers. I hope this short clip brings a smile to your face on this last Wednesday in April. And by the way, I highly recommend watching this on a desktop, or laptop over your tiny phone screen! It will make a big difference.

Enjoy!
