Back in the fall when I spent some time camping and kayaking in the Adirondacks of New York state, I heard this sound one night while lying warm and cozy in my tent.
Do you know what it is? Hint: It is NOT a truck backing up! Instead, the sound is made by an animal that can be found in the northern parts of North America in evergreen forests, especially between January and May. Have YOU heard this sound? Do you want to guess what animal is making it? If your guess is correct, you will be eligible to win the first prize of the year–a few blank cards from my Beauty is Everywhere collection. Use the comment box below to enter your guess!
Have a great weekend. See you again soon.
SAW WHET OWL!!
Thanks for commenting! I no longer can tell people whether or not their guess is correct, but I SO appreciate your taking time to read the blog posts and give your guess! Stay tuned to see if you are right! I will answer on Saturday. Until then, have a great week.
