Weekly Puzzler #128: Riding the Wind!

So the last four puzzlers were large birds (swallow-tailed kite ,white pelican, wood stork, and osprey) that use invisible air currents to float high above the ground. This week’s puzzler is also a big bird that uses these thermals to help them stay high above the earth with little to no effort. Below is a silhouette of this bird.  This bird is not as big as the white pelican, but has a bigger wingspan than a swallow-tailed kite and wood stork. Its wingspan is also bigger than an osprey–but only by about an inch!  Do you know what it is? (Hint: This bird, unlike the last puzzlers, does not have any white on it)

Do you know it? If so, use the comment box below to give your guess. All correct answers will be eligible to win this quarter’s prize. Check back next weekend to see if you are correct…and as always, have a fabulous weekend!
